Stingray Sam is a space outlaw who has been let outta jail to hook up with his partner The Quasar Kid and save a damsel in distress. Will they make it in time? Hell, he's Stingray Sam.
Writer-director-star Cory McAbee lends his special sauce of filmmaking eccentricity to STINGRAY SAM, creating a serialized tale that's even wilder than the Wild West. McAbee concocts a western sci-fi nailbiter layered over fantastic musical sequences, splashing black-and-white Hollywood glitz on a rockabilly fountain. Using the fun conceit of a cliffhanger series, STINGRAY SAM's collection of short adventures lead to possible disaster each time. But don't let that distract you from our hero's job. Thrills, chills and tons of laughs abound. STINGRAY SAM is one wild roller coaster, so don’t enter the amusement park if you don’t want to ride.
